The Romanian Garana Jazz accisotret.com Festival is this year in its 15th year. Located in a beautiful region of Romania at a 1,000-meter altitude, the festival gathers over 4,000 people every evening to listen to the most eccentric Jazz and world music reunion from Romania.
Four days, big names and underground but powerful little names
Anthony Jackson, Simon Phillips, Hiromi Uehara, Lars Danielson, Avishai Cohen. But also two Manne Basses on the same stage in the same musical act!!
Horea Crisovan (Manne endorser, artist and friend) and Victor Miclaus (Manne friend and player) sustained a 55-minute concert including songs for 2 basses, a piano and percussion.
The Trea and the Acusti-Moab came together and caught the attention and many smiles from the 4,000 people in attendance on July 21, as opening act for Avishai Cohen. Horea Crisovan’s quartet featured Mario Florescu’s on percussions, Teo Milea at piano and Victor Miclaus playing bass. A CD of the band will be released within the year.
