The pics shows Curtis Jones playing his new Manne DSR at the 17th Annual Bear on the Square Mountain Festival, April, 21 2013, Dahlonega, GA, USA. The Manne DSR looked fantastic on stage, and more importantly it sounded fantastic. Curtis is extremely happy with the guitar’s overall performance. The beautiful looks and superb tone quality and playability of the DSR are truly worthy of a great professional player and virtuoso flatpicker like Curtis Jones.

Curtis has owned and played literally hundreds of guitars from the most important guitar makers in the US and around the world. So it says a lot that Curtis chooses to perform with a Manne DSR. Curtis recently released a CD with his current band, Mountain Gypsy Project. It is a self-produced CD mostly recorded live in his home studio with a good energy. Curtis’s music is a kind of version of bluegrass-inspired music with some uncommon features like having a drummer, not really typical in bluegrass. He can play very fast lines demonstrating good technique and flawless playing
