I ask a company with 60 years experience in the production of Laminated densified Wood to produce a black material with vertical lamination with the same features as ebony.
Here is the result I already tested on Basses and Guitars.
Ebonprex is made with Red Beech Laminated densified Wood, with raw material 100% of European origin, easily available and environmental friendly being PEFC certificated.
Aesthetically pleasing with great features, High Young Modulus and low Moisture Content and Shrinkage for a great neck stability, warp resistance and anti-wear.
Available on any instrument as an extra feature, it adds harmonic content to the sound
