Flashband project

“Ciao Andrea,

Here in Washington there has been a nice project going for a while: the “flashband project”.

It works like this: They organize a meeting for musicians assigning a specific and each time different project to develop: British invasion, club dance, Americana bandstand etc.

All musicians interested are invited to meet with other musicians casually to rehersal and improvise jam session to develop the project. At the end of the afternoon some bands are created that after a month will play a concert in a local concert hall.
