My guitar is a Manne Nighthawk Gloss special, a “superstrat” Manne designed for guitarists that are looking for new, innovative and original instruments, within a traditional look. [pullquote-left] for guitarists that are looking for new, innovative and original instruments, within a traditional look [/pullquote-left] The black korina body sounds very balanced and fat, and matches very good with the Italian Poplar top. The reinforced neck has asymmetrical shaping that is very comfortable and the Manne resin fretboard is another Manne gem, an ultra resistant material that adds a consistent and defined attack to notes. The circuit/pickups is a combination of Manne blades and a Manne vintage single coil, with push-pulls that give wide variety of tone combinations.
The Manne locking tuners and Wilkinson traditional bridge are working just fine while keeping the vintage attitude.
And, last but not the least, a hi-gloss Purple finish (purely spectacular!) to highlight the wood grain of top and giving light nuances with the chrome parts.
I feel the Nighthawk as a definitive axe, solid and versatile, a perfect combination of form and content. All my sincere compliments to Manne staff!
