Stefano Rossi is a Manne promoter, teacher and founder of a school system branded Doopy (www.doopymusic.it).
“I met Andrea Ballarin for the first time in 2001, and I became his customer for all my repairs and set-ups. In 2006, finally, I got myself the First Taos, a gloss special with Fishman piezo bridge. Till today it is the “Best guitar I ever played in my life”.
Since then I always play just with Manne instruments, adding a Ventura Satin Special in 2007, a Mannedesign Raven in 2008 (lately refinished in satin) and a Raven Satin Special in the 2011.”
Stefano’s band “Generation 90210” is a tribute band of music from the ‘90’s. So exclusively songs published from 1990 to 1999, giving homage to a decade already far away in time, even if it seems it was just yesterday..
“Actually, if now we play the ’90, it is just like if, in the ’90, we would have played the ’70!!” This was a key sentence of a friend at a concert which triggered for us the idea for the band.
In the line up of the band there is also Chiara Baggio, the Stefano soulmate (girlfriend), who happily steals his Mane Raven (that is sooo light) “’60s? ’70s? ’80s? TOO OLD! We go for the ’90!”
