NEW CD RELEASE CELEBRATION

From Justin Young, a talented new Manne Gospel guitarist….There is a hum in the air coming from Washington, DC’s own THE SOUL MESSENGERZ (TSM). The release of the Soul Messengerz first CD Project, “Grace and Mercy,” will soar through the sanctuary of New Creation in Christ Ministries on Sunday, April 24, 2011. On March 27, 2010 TSM recorded this powerful project. Due to technical difficulties, the project was re-recorded live at Reid Temple A.M.E. on May 15, 2010. This project is a divine reflection of the group’s perseverance, faith and the powerful anointing of the Holy Spirit, and is ready for its intended release date of April 24, 2011.

Grace and Mercy edifies the goodness of the Lord and demonstrates the power of God through the harmonic, quartet sound of the Soul Messengerz. TSM credits their success to God and the inspiration of Commissioned, The Winans and The Mighty Clouds of Joy. TSM has been ministering for 2 ½ years but the group brings over 25 years of experience in the music industry. Core members of The Soul Messengerz are Pastor DeCarlo B. Coley, Johnny Matthews, Justin N. Young, Minister Charles A. Young, James Vines, Gregory Parish and James Vines, Jr. They are the national winners of the 2010 Allstate Gospel Superfest Battle of the Bands and are currently working on their sophomore project.
